Kids are holding a Garden 'Glow and Grow' event on Saturday.
Youngsters from Wemyss Bay Primary and Nursery Class will be working alongside Blooming Inverkip volunteers and other community volunteers.
Plans include development of an allotment type food growing areas, planning for a sensory garden area , planning for an outdoor reading area.
Organisers in a social media post, said: "Any community volunteers who have a few hours to spare cutting some shrubs, wheeling some compost/woodchip and helping with other duties are most welcome.
"Any volunteers with joinery/handyman skillls are also much sought after as there is likely to be some raised bed planters being constructed "We also hope to have a few spring bulb planting activities available as well.
"Any spades, wheelbarrows, loppers, secateurs that you can bring on site might also be very useful as well as drills, saws if handymen are available would also be great."
It runs from 10am until 2pm.
