AN Inverclyde travel firm has scooped a prestigious honour for a nightbus service.
McGill's, the UK's largest independent bus operator, took the Best Bus Service award for its Glasgow nightbus at the UK National Transport Awards.
The accolade recognises the firm's commitment to transforming night-time public transport, and providing a vital service to residents, visitors, and businesses.
The night-time bus network was introduced last year and operates across Shawlands, Paisley, Clydebank, and Drumchapel.
McGill's Group chairman Ralph Roberts said: "We are incredibly proud to receive this recognition.
"This award is a testament to our dedicated team who got our nightbus service up and running from a standing start last August and have worked exceptionally hard for it now to be crowned the best service in the UK."
