Police are probing the assault of a young man in Larkfield last night.
It is understood the 24-year-old was attacked in Angus Road.
He was later taken to hospital for treatment.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 6.35pm on Friday, 4 October, 2024, we were called to a report of a man having been assaulted in Angus Road, Greenock.
“A 24-year-old man was taken to hospital for treatment.
“Enquiries are ongoing.”
