INVERCLYDE’S library service is inviting local families along to a fun and silly ‘murder mystery’ event in Greenock later this month.
The service has teamed up with The Tentpeg Murderers for the Halloween Hell event, part of the Galoshans Festival, on Thursday, October 24.
A bagpiper has been murdered…and it’ll be up to local sleuths to solve the crime, along with Gore the Ghost, Count Chickens the Vampire, and the Mistress Monster – part witch and part Frankenstein.
The event is suitable for children aged 11 and up, and while places are free, spaces are limited. Book yours at tinyurl.com/galoshanshalloweenhell.
A spokesperson for the organisers said: “Get ready for a spooky family evening filled with mystery and intrigue.
“Put on your best costume and prepare to solve a thrilling murder mystery with a Halloween twist.”
The event runs at Greenock Central Library from 5-7pm.
