A VITAL charity in Inverclyde helping children keep in touch with estranged parents has been awarded funding.
Inverclyde Family Contact Centre operates as a safe space for youngsters to have contact and for hand overs.
The Jamaica Street based voluntary organisation has received £1,700 from the Inverclyde Council's community grant scheme.
This will be used to improve the facility with new carpets and lighting.
Around 100 groups were awarded grants from the pot of £250,000.
