AN INVERCLYDE musical duo have been longlisted for a national award.
The Laurettes are up for Folk and Traditional Artist of the Year at this year’s Scottish Live Music Awards.
Lynette Beaton and Lauren O’Donoghue face competition from a number of popular acts, including Skerryvore, Skipinnish, Manran and Peat and Diesel.
The event's organisers say more than 12,500 nominations were received across all categories this year.
Music fans can now cast their longlist votes in an online survey at tinyurl.com/4ruxv9ue.
Voting will close on at 11.59pm on October 24.
