AN INVERCLYDE drama group has received a financial boost as it prepares for its 2024 pantomime.
Inverclyde Council have made a £1,500 contribution to support the Greenock Players.
The amateur drama group received the four-figure sum as part of the latest round of the council’s Community Grants Fund.
The money will be used to help pay for storage, rehearsal space and show production costs for the group.
The Players are currently rehearsing for their forthcoming production of Cinderella, taking place at the Beacon Arts Centre from Thursday, November 28 to Saturday, November 30.
