AN INVERCLYDE photography group is inviting talented photographers along to a workshop this week on creating images using light, oil drops, computer/iPad screens and other props.
The Inverkip Hub Photography Group’s 'Introduction to Oil Drops Photography' session takes place at the Inverkip Hub on Thursday, October 17.
A spokesperson said: "Last year, one of our most popular evenings was a practical session on creating images using light, oil drops, computer/iPad screens and other props.
"Join us to learn more about this fun technique perfect for rainy days. There will be a brief session explaining the ideas and different ways of making use of light with props, not just oil drops. Most of the evening will be a practical session for everyone to give it a try, asking questions as necessary.
"Most of us had never tried this before so everyone was learning from scratch.
"All necessary props will be available on the night and we can share tripods. Feel free to bring along your own prop that might reflect or refract light and/or screens to project light/images."
Bring along your camera, a tripod if you have one, and a lens suitable for taking closer images.
The session starts at 7pm and costs £3, including tea and biscuits.
