PART of a Greenock street will be closed for more than a week later this month while carriageway works are carried out.
The road will be closed from its junction with Carwood Street to the entrance to Cappielow football stadium from 8am on Monday, October 21 to 5pm on Friday, November 1.
A diversion will be in place via East Hamilton Street, Ratho Street and Carwood Street and vice versa.
The restrictions will be in place during Morton’s Championship clash against Queen’s Park at Cappielow on October 29.
Inverclyde Council says it will issue penalty charge notices to anyone parking in the street during the closure, and may move, or cause to be moved, to any place it thinks fit, motor vehicles in breach of the terms of the road closure order.
