YOUNG Lego enthusiasts across Inverclyde are being invited to get involved in a special Galoshans-themed building challenge.
With Inverclyde's annual celebration of all things frightful getting under way on Thursday, the Lego clubs run by Inverclyde Libraries are inviting fans of the pursuit to build a haunted house or a zombie playground out of Lego or Duplo to mark the spooky season.
Lego clubs are available on a drop-in basis for children and families on Thursday evenings from 5-6pm at the libraries at Greenock Central, Greenock South West (Barr's Cottage) and Kilmacolm, and on Saturdays from 11am until 12 noon at Greenock Central, Gourock, Port Glasgow, and Inverkip & Wemyss Bay.
Children can play with Lego Classic if they're aged from five and up, and with Duplo for children aged from 18 months.
All children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult at all the sessions.
The Saturday session at Inverkip and Wemyss Bay is split into two - a Lego club from 10-11am for children aged five and above, and a Duplo club for those from 18 months from 11am until 12 noon.
