AN INVERCLYDE recovery support charity is holding an open day in Greenock to shine a light on the services it offers to the local community.

Moving On Inverclyde will provide information, ‘auricular acupuncture’ and a variety of wellbeing activities at the event next month.

The charity supports people across the area to achieve improved recovery from alcohol and drug use.

A spokesperson said: “This is an opportunity for you to explore what we have to offer and experience our service first-hand.

“Join us to find out insightful information about our services, interactive sessions, and tours of our facilities.

“Whether you are considering support from us or are simply curious to learn more, our team will be available to answer any questions and provide detailed information on the day.”

The event takes place at Moving On Inverclyde’s base at Kingston House on Jamaica Street on Friday, November 1 from 11am until 2pm, and refreshments will be provided.
