A GROUP of talented Kilmacolm performers have received £3,000 from Inverclyde Council.
Kilmacolm Dramatic Society secured the cash boost through the council's community grants fund.
The money will support the purchase and installation of a new lighting system for performances, and has been awarded subject to conditions.
The society's cast and crew are preparing for this year's winter production, Puss in Boots.
Established in 1945, the group stages two shows every year at the Kidston Hall in Kilmacolm.
Members of the Society perform pantomimes, comedies, period dramas, mysteries and suspense plays, farces, and musical theatre shows.
Puss in Boots runs from November 28 to 30.
