REPAIRS are underway to a burst water pipe which has caused interruptions to supplies in Gourock this evening.
Scottish Water staff have been on site at Shore Street since around 5:30pm.
Technicians are working near Eastern View, close to an area currently subject to Scottish Gas roadworks.
It is hoped the repairs will be completed by 10pm.
In an update issued earlier this evening, Scottish Water said: “The water supply will gradually return to normal for customers once the repair has been completed.”
McGill’s 545 and 901 services have been affected by the works tonight, with passengers being asked to board at Cardwell Road in the meantime.
