A MAN has denied making offensive remarks and acting aggressively towards a woman during an incident in Greenock.
Anthony Holten, 29, is charged with behaving in a threatening or abusive manner towards his partner, or former partner, at an address in the town on October 1.
It is alleged that he shouted, swore and repeatedly struck a door at the property.
Prosecutors say he was subject to a bail order at the time of the alleged offence.
Holten, of Clynder Road, pleaded not guilty through defence solicitor Aidan Gallagher and was granted bail.
A trial was fixed for January 22 next year.
