A leading Inverclyde football academy has welcomed a new face to its ranks in the form of a one-time SPFL play-off hero.
Former St Mirren and Stranraer forward has teamed up with former Brechin City star Craig Molloy to pass on his expertise to Greenock's stars of the future.
He'll team up with fellow coach Jack Lapsley and offer sessions twice a week at Inverclyde Leisure's Lady Octavia sports centre, located in the East End of Greenock.
Gilmartin, from Greenock, signed for West of Scotland Premiership outfit Darvel in the summer after a fruitful loan spell at SPFL League Two cracks Stranraer, which he helped remain in the senior leagues with a dramatic extra-time win over Lowland League side East Kilbride at Stair Park.
He came through the ranks at Premiership side St Mirren where he made one appearance at the SMiSA stadium.
