FIREFIGHTERS responded to a reports of a blaze in the east end of Greenock on Thursday afternoon.
Emergency services personnel attended Belville Street just before 5.30pm after they were alerted to a fire in a building.
Four appliances were sent to the scene and there were no reports of injuries.
A spokesperson for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said: "We were alerted at 5.29pm on Thursday, October 24, to reports of a dwelling fire on Belville Street, Greenock.
"Operations Control mobilised three fire appliances and one high reach vehicle to the scene.
"There were no reported casualties and crews left the scene after ensuring the area was made safe."
