THE team behind a campaign to revitalise Port Glasgow raised hundreds of pounds for charity in an event full of delicious baked goodies and good chat.
Port Glasgow 2025 hosted a coffee morning at its base in John Wood Street - and the amazing array of home-baking helped generate an incredible £325 for Macmillan Cancer Support.
The event also raised money for Ardgowan Hospice, with that amount still to be determined.
Local police officers popped in to show their support, and CVS senior social enterprise development worker Lee Trotter was there to help out too.
Charlotte Stewart of Port Glasgow 2025 thanked volunteers for their help on the day, and praised everyone who made home baking for the event.
She said: "We wanted to run a community event to show our support for Macmillan Cancer Support and for Ardgowan Hospice.
"A lot of our volunteers are cancer survivors and have been helped by these services, and two local residents also received the all clear from cancer on the day.
"It was a great day."
