INVERKIP residents were handed a cash boost just in time for Christmas after winning in the People's Postcode Lottery.
Players in the PA16 0BB postcode, which covers Station Avenue in the village, won £1,000 as part of the competition on Monday, October 28.
The People's Postcode Lottery raises vital funds for charities and community projects across Britain.
More than £1.4 billion has been raised for these good causes since the lottery started, with postcode winners picked out every week.
Earlier this year, players in The Crescent in Skelmorlie also scooped a £1,000 daily prize, while back in 2021, a group of 10 residents in Braeside and Port Glasgow landed a share of £400,000.
