A TALENTED content creator brought spooky tales from Nigeria to the people of Inverclyde in a unique Galoshans event.
Jideofor 'Jim' Muotune, who is also known as The Afrowegian, presented A Black Gaze on Galoshans at the Watt Institution.
As an introduction to his storytelling, Jim, who was born in Nigeria, presented an amazing animated film featuring figures from Scottish history who have strong connections to Inverclyde.
The characters were voiced by some famous people who themselves are connected to Inverclyde, including Jean Johansson, singer songwriter Matthew Hickman (Brownbear), Suzanne Bonnar, and Ernie Peters.
Jim then went on to tell folktales featuring a type of character called 'anansi' which is commonly depicted as a spider.
Jim has created The Afrowegian platform to share art designed to foster debate about race in Scottish culture.
