LEWIS SCOTT put in a powerful display to take the win in the final race at round two of Greenock Glenpark Harriers' Colin Shields endurance championship under the lights at Ravenscraig Stadium.

The recent increase in junior numbers were reflected in the competition with a total of 42 youngsters taking part which meant that the event was split across a number of races.

The under 15s, 17's and 20s that lined up for the final race.

Lewis McCrae missed the start and had the task of chasing down those in front.

Lucas Gardiner set the pace, but was gradually pulled back, although it wasn’t until the home straight that he was finally caught by Lewis Scott.

McCrae almost pulled off an unlikely win but just ran out of track, but he did have the consolation of recording the quickest time of the night.

Evie Harrison continued her good form, winning the girls' race with a strong run from Summer Taggart and a promising performance from Lucy McGuinness on her debut.
