RESIDENTS at a Greenock sheltered housing complex had frighteningly good fun at a Halloween party.
The team at Seafield House on the Esplanade hosted a spooky spectacular for residents - and an amazing array of costumes were on show.
Support warden Stacy Mussenden said there was a great turnout on the day, and that the residents really got into the spirit of it all.
She added: "It was a lovely day and the residents really enjoyed it.
"It's so important to have events like this for residents and they're good for morale at this time of year.
"With the dark nights coming in and the weather changing, some of our residents don't get out and about as much."
A total of 28 residents and three family members joined staff in all the fun at the River Clyde Homes complex.
Halloween decorations were created in art and craft sessions in the run-up to spooky season, and every resident got a slice of a creepy Costco cake.
Stacy said there was a lot of anticipation about the outfits that people would be wearing on the day.
She added: "It was all top secret, and the residents wouldn't tell each other who they would be dressing up as!
"There was real anticipation about it and it was a good laugh."
