AN INVERCLYDE country estate has confirmed the re-opening of one of it's more popular attractions.
Finlaystone Country Estate, located just outside Port Glasgow, had to shut one of their adventure areas in recent weeks to carry out necessary safety works.
The estate's popular pirate ship climbing frame has since re-opened, with some distinguished new features that will ensure tots are kept safe whilst exploring the high seas.
New handrails have been put in place in order to prevent any slips and falls on the multi-level play area.
An estate spokesperson said: "We are thrilled to announce that work is now completed on our beloved pirate ship!
"Our team has worked hard to enhance safety and enjoyment, with new safety barriers installed, extra supports added, and some of the wooden deck replaced.
"Finley's Phenix is now ready to welcome little pirates back aboard!"
