A PERSON has been taken to hospital after emergency services rushed to the scene of an accident in a Greenock supermarket car park.
Police and ambulance staff attended the scene at Morrisons on Rue End Street after a car struck a bollard and collided with two other vehicles in the busy car park.
The incident happened at around 10.10 this morning.
A spokesperson for the Scottish Ambulance Service said: "We received a call at 10:11 hours to attend a road traffic collision on Rue End Street, Greenock.
"We dispatched one ambulance and two special operations response teams (SORT) to the scene and one patient was transported to Inverclyde Royal Hospital.”
