POLICE are appealing for information after a car was deliberately set alight in broad daylight in Greenock.
Emergency services were called to a 'wilful car fire' on Rose Street in Bow Farm at around 10:20am on Thursday.
The fire was extinguished by the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service, with no injuries being reported.
Detective Constable Laura Sokolov said: “Enquiries are ongoing and we are appealing to anyone who witnessed the fire to contact us.

“We also ask anyone with private CCTV or dashcam footage of the area at the time to come forward.”
Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101 quoting incident 0955 of 7 November, 2024.
