A 70-year-old man has been charged after a crash in a Greenock supermarket car park.
Police have confirmed that the man was charged and issued with a ticket in connection with a road traffic offence at the Morrisons store on Dellingburn Street.
Emergency services rushed to the scene on Thursday morning after reports that a car had struck two vehicles.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 10.10am on Thursday, November 7, 2024, officers received a report of a vehicle having crashed into two parked vehicles at a car park on Dellingburn Street, Greenock.
“The driver was checked over at the scene.
“A 70-year-old man was charged in connection and was issued with a ticket.”
Police confirmed that these were in connection with a road traffic offence.
The ambulance service also attended and said a person had been taken to Inverclyde Royal Hospital.
