NEARLY 3,000 people are expected to take part in the Inverclyde Music Festival in the new year, according to the event's organisers.
The popular festival says it has received more than 1,150 entries for its 2025 classes, with the times and venues for the events set to be released in the near future.
The festival's organisers have thanked locals for their support so far.
Earlier this year the Tele told how festival bosses faced a £12,000 funding gap to get the annual musical event up and running for its 98th edition in 2025.

But organisers have now met their fundraising target and are now busy pulling together the event's timetable.
The festival programme will feature sections for singing, speech, instruments and dance, and classes celebrating Scottish culture, including piping, Scots song and speech, and country dancing.
Entries have now closed for the 2025 event, which will run from Monday, January 20 until Saturday, February 1.
