INVERCLYDE Woodturning Club has received a £675 grant from Inverclyde Council.
The group have been given the cash as part of the latest round of the local authority's Community Grants Fund.
The cash will be used to cover the costs of purchasing a new lathe and chuck package.
The woodturning club was founded by local man Alex Francis in 2017 and gives locals the chance to try their hand at the hobby.
Those who have come along in the years since have had the opportunity to make a myriad of items, such as pens, bowls, and trinket boxes.
