PROPOSALS to build a three-bedroom home on vacant land in Gibshill have been submitted to council planners.
The detached property is proposed for open space at 28 Shankland Road, Greenock, beside terraced dwellings.
It would have three bedrooms plus an integrated garage at a lower level.
A design statement submitted by Nicholson McShane Architects explains: “The design of the dwelling is positioned to lessen the apparent height overall.
“With the plot being located at the end of the terraced houses, the dwelling design essentially forms a bookend to the run of dwellings along this stretch of Shankland Road.”
The application, by a Mr Brian Seatter, is pending consideration by council officials.
Planning permission was previously granted for a house at the site in 2018.
