A DOCUMENTARY following life on the road for well-loved boy band One Direction will return to the cinema in Greenock this weekend to celebrate the life of one of its members.
Liam Payne tragically passed away in Buenos Aires at the age of 31 last month.
He teamed up with singers Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Zayn Malik and Louis Tomlinson while competing on the X Factor in 2010, with the group going on to enjoy global success in the years following.
Waterfront Cinema hopes to bring fans together to celebrate his legacy and relive memories of the band at a screenings on Saturday and Sunday.
The venue will show One Direction: This Is Us, a 2013 documentary directed by Morgan Spurlock which tells the ‘remarkable’ story of the five-piece group and their rise to international fame.
The screenings will begin at 8pm on Saturday and 5:45pm on Sunday, with tickets available at waterfrontcinema.co.uk.
