POLICE in Greenock are hunting for two men in connection with an assault in the town on Tuesday night.
A 42-year-old man was taken to hospital after being attacked in an incident in the Whinhill Crescent area at around 7pm on November 12.
Police have now issued a description of two men who were seen in the area around the time of the incident, and have appealed to the public for information.
Both men are described as wearing black tops with hoods, black tracksuit bottoms, and black trainers.
Detective Constable Agnieszka Telford said: “Our enquiries are ongoing to trace the two men seen in the area at the time of this incident.
“If you saw anything then please get in touch with us. We are also keen to speak to anyone with private CCTV or dash-cam footage that could assist with our investigation.”
Anyone who can help is asked to call Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number 3118 of Tuesday, 12 November, 2024.
