A Post Office will re-open in Port Glasgow later this month - more than a year after closing its doors.

The Post Office branch operating at Londis, located within 18-20 Dubbs Road, Port Glasgow will re-open its doors on Friday November 29.

The branch closed on Thursday, November 23 last year due to the resignation of the postmaster at the time.

Post Office area change manager Scott Hamilton said: "I know that the local community will join me in welcoming this good news and hope that you and our customers will continue to use this service.

The operating hours of the reopened branch will be 9am-6pm Monday to Saturday, except on Fridays, when it will be open from 9am-1pm and 2-6pm.
