PLANS have been unveiled to install electric vehicle charging points and create new parking spaces at a Greenock supermarket.
Aldi is seeking permission from Inverclyde Council to build an extension at the rear of its premises on Patrick Street, as well as a fenced compound at the rear to house a refrigeration plant.
The company also wants to alter the layout of the store’s car park to provide seven additional parking spaces at the front of the store as well as space to park bicycles, and to alter the pedestrian access.
The proposals also include the installation of electric vehicle charging points and the formation of a fire escape access path on to Patrick Street.
