CARERS in Inverclyde are being invited to attend an event in Greenock providing more information about the rights and legal advice open to them in their caring roles.
Carers’ Gateway Inverclyde is holding the Carers’ Rights Day event at its base in West Stewart Street on Thursday, November 21.
The day will include sessions at 10am on power of attorney and guardianship and 1pm on advocacy and self-directed support, with a drop-in and light lunch from 11.30am to 1pm.
A spokesperson said: “Come along and find out information on power of attorney, advocacy and self-directed support, or simply pop in to our lunch time drop-in and meet the team.”
A form is available to register via the ‘Carers Gateway Inverclyde’ page on Facebook or you can join the sessions from home via Microsoft Teams.
To find out more about the day, email inverclyde@unity-enterprise.com or call Carers Gateway Inverclyde on 01475 602700.
