Council bosses have confirmed details of road works and closures over the next seven days.
Locations include the west end of Greenock, Cathcart Square and Kempock Place in Gourock for the Christmas Lights switch on.
Braeside Road in Greenock: From Monday 8am until Friday 5pm there will be no waiting/no loading/no unloading at any time. Limits – Between Burns Road and Davaar Road, on both sides of the carriageway to allow for footway resurfacing works.
Elsewhere, from Monday, November 18 at 9.30am until Monday December 2, at midnight the east side lane of Fox Street in Greenock will be closed with a diversion.
This is to allow for Scottish Water repairs.
A cycle path in Port Glasgow will close on Monday until February 16, 2025. The cycle lane runs from Millport Road in Port Glasgow to Whitelea Crescent in Kilmacolm.
A diversion will be in place. The closure is to allow for widening of the cycle path and resurfacing works.
Kempock Place in Gourock will close from 5pm until 7pm on Thursday to allow for the Christmas light switch on.
While Cathcart Square at William Street will be closed on Thursday from 12noon to 8pm, for Greenock's Christmas light switch on.
A section of Wallace Place will be closed from Thursday at 7am until 7pm on Friday for property maintenance works.
A diversion will be in place.
