INVERCLYDE'S MP Martin McCluskey will be visiting schools across Inverclyde to get young people involved in UK Parliament Week 2024.
The annual event raises awareness of what Parliament is and what it does, and advises on how people can take part.
People are encouraged to take part in activities like debates, quizzes, casting votes, and creating petitions, and are encouraged to make contact with their MP.
Schools across Inverclyde and Renfrewshire are taking part in activities this week, and Mr McCluskey will be attending virtual and in-person events at Port Glasgow High School, St Mary's Primary School, Clydeview Academy, and St Columba's High School.
Mr McCluskey said: "I'm looking forward to visiting a number of schools across the constituency as part of UK Parliament Week.
"The decisions that are made in the UK Parliament affect everyone who lives and works in our area, and I want to make sure that people understand the work that we do."
