Police have confirmed they investigated a report of a man's behaviour after an incident in Greenock town centre on Sunday.
A video shared widely on social media appears to show a man walking down Bank Street towards a van parked on Cathcart Street which had its side door open.
A member of the public posting on Facebook claimed that the man in question asked a group of women if they would like to 'come for a drink', an offer they declined.

They claim that the man then made his way towards the van, which had its side door open, and the door appeared to close just as the man reached the front of the vehicle.
The poster inferred that they believed the door was left open in anticipation of someone being taken away in the van.
They added that they posted the video as they wanted to make others aware - especially women walking alone - about a potentially dangerous situation.
Police Scotland confirmed they had carried out enquiries and said no crime was identified.
Chief Inspector David Doherty said: "We were made aware of concerns regarding a man's behaviour in Cathcart Street, Greenock on Sunday, November 17, 2024.
"All our enquiries have concluded and at this time no crime has been established."
