A MAN is to stand trial after he denied subjecting a Greenock shopworker to violent threats and aggression.
William Bonnar, 39, is charged with behaving in a threatening or abusive manner towards a man at Aldi on Patrick Street on June 12.
He is accused of shouting and swearing at him, as well as uttering threats of violence.
Bonnar, of Roxburgh Way, pleaded not guilty to the single charge through defence solicitor Aidan Gallagher at Greenock Sheriff Court.
A trial was fixed for March 19, 2025.
