A GREENOCK pub is set to celebrate St Andrew’s Day with a special three-day event.
The James Watt, in Cathcart Street, will host the festivities from Friday, November 29, to Sunday, December 1.
During this time, the Wetherspoons pub will celebrate Scottish craft beer, gin, whisky and real ale by offering them to customers at lower prices than usual.
Among the deals, the public can enjoy Belhaven Brewery’s Belhaven 80 Shilling for £1.49 a pint and BrewDog Punk IPA for £2.99 a pint.
Neil Clark, the James Watt pub manager, said: "The three-day celebration is a great opportunity for our customers to enjoy some great value prices on Scottish drinks and to celebrate St Andrew’s Day for longer than just the 30th of November."
Other special offers include Glenmorangie single malt whisky and Edinburgh Gin Rhubarb & Ginger liqueur, both at £1.99 per 25ml serving, with a mixer included.
Regional craft cans, including Fierce IPA, Loch Lomond Brewery’s Zoom Time, and Stewart Brewing’s New Relic, will be priced at £2.99 each.
Loch Lomond Brewery’s The Gloaming, a dark red beer, will be available for £1.99 a pint.
