SIX Inverclyde streets are set to be affected by traffic measures that start next week.
Streets in Gourock and Port Glasgow will be affected by the closures, which are being put in place to facilitate a variety of works.

Ashton Road/Cloch Road, Gourock: No waiting/no loading/no unloading at any time
Traffic restrictions will be in place on parts of Ashton Road and Cloch Road in Gourock from Monday.
The measures come into force at 8am on November 25 and will last until 6pm on Wednesday, November 27.
During this period there will be no waiting and no loading or unloading at any time from number 46 Ashton Road to number 3 Cloch Road on both sides of the carriageway.
The restrictions will be in place while work is carried out to clear blockages in nearby ducts.

Victoria Road, Gourock: Road closure
Work to clear blocked cable ducts on Victoria Road will commence on Monday.
A section of the Gourock street will be closed between November 25 at 8am and November 27 at 6pm while the work takes place.
The restrictions will be in place from the road’s junction with Moorfield Avenue to its junction with Ashton Road.
A diversion will be in place through Victoria Road, Barrhill Road, St Johns Road, Shore Street, Kempock Street, Albert Road, Ashton Road and vice versa while the works are ongoing.
Cardwell Road, Sharp Street, Margaret Street in Gourock: No waiting/no loading/no unloading at any time
Restrictions will be in place on three Gourock streets for five days next week while footway resurfacing works take place.
Parts of Cardwell Road, Sharp Street and Margaret Street will be affected by the works, which are scheduled to start at 8am on Monday (November 25) and last until 5pm on Friday (November 29).
There will be no waiting and no loading or unloading at any time on the affected sections of the three street while the works are taking place.
For Cardwell Road, the restrictions will be in place from its junction with Sharp Street to the south side of the new Co-op store.
The traffic measures will be enforced on Sharp Street from its junction with Cardwell Road to the north gable of 6 Sharp Street on both sides of the street.
Similarly, the restrictions on Margaret Street will affect the stretch of road from its junction with Cardwell Road to the north gable of 2 Margaret Street on both sides.
Fore Street, Port Glasgow – Road closure
A road in Port Glasgow’s town centre will be closed on Wednesday evening next week to accommodate the town’s Christmas light switch on.
Fore Street will be closed from the southernmost extent of the Port Glasgow Library northbound to its link junction with the A8 Greenock Road.
The closure will be in place between 5pm and 7pm on November 27.
Fyfe Park Road, Port Glasgow: Road closure
Network Rail will be carrying out bridge repairs next week which will see part of a Port Glasgow street closed on Thursday and Friday.
Fyfe Park Road will be shut from its junction with Glasgow Road to number 1 Fyfe Park Road while the works take place.
The repairs are scheduled to begin on Thursday (November 28) at 9am and last until Friday (November 29) at 5pm.
A diversion will be in place through Glasgow Road, Kelburn Terrace, Fyfe Shore Road, Fyfe Park Road and vice versa.
Larkfield Road, Gourock: No waiting/no loading/no unloading at any time
Traffic measures will be in place on Larkfield Road while Scottish Water works take place next week.
There will be no waiting and no loading or unloading at any time on a section of the Gourock street between 9:30am on Thursday (November 28) and 6pm on Friday (November 29).
The restrictions cover the road from its junction with Grenville Road to its junction with Garvie Avenue on the east side of the street.
