PORT Glasgow will be the next town to turn on its Christmas lights as the festive countdown continues.
The town's Christmas lights switch-on takes place on Wednesday (November 27) at the Port Glasgow library from 6pm onwards.
It follows the Greenock switch-on in Clyde Square last Thursday and Gourock's event last Friday.
Next Friday Quarriers Village, Inverkip, Kilmacolm and Wemyss Bay will start their Christmas countdowns.
Quarriers Village's switch-on starts at 3.30pm in the village centre, Kilmacolm's will be held at the Cargill Centre from 6pm, while Inverkip's is at 5.30pm at the Inverkip Hub and Wemyss Bay's is at the local community centre at 7pm.
