MORTON in the Community have had to cancel a free health screening event due to take place outside Cappielow this weekend.
Earlier this week, it was announced that supporters heading to this weekend's William Hill Championship clash against Partick Thistle would have the opportunity to have a free health check on an NHS bus outside the stadium
The screening would have assessed each participant's risk of developing type 2 diabetes by taking a measurement of their waist, measuring their blood pressure and Body Mass Index (BMI), and asking them to complete a short questionnaire.
But due to unforeseen circumstances the event has now been cancelled.
A Morton in the Community spokesperson said: "Unfortunately, the NHS bus is now unavailable for reasons outwith our control.
"We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and are hoping to rearrange this event for the near future."
