A GREENOCK man is to stand trial accused of stalking a woman in the town over several weeks.
Graeme Murchie, 50, is charged with engaging in a course of conduct which caused the complainer to suffer fear or alarm between March 26 and April 17.
He is alleged to have repeatedly sent cards to her home address, as well as uttering threats.
Prosecutors say he also sent a card which featured an image of the woman.
Murchie, of Wellington Street, denied the charge through defence solicitor Gerry Keenan at Greenock Sheriff Court.
Sheriff Lindsay Kooner fixed a trial for March 10, 2025.
