A Greenock sports club is celebrating gaining £1,350 from council bosses towards running costs.
Lady Octavia Badminton Club received the funding from the community grants sub-committee.
The group is one of 100 groups to share the windfall of £250,000 across Inverclyde which was granted a meeting in September..
The club will spend the cash on equipment, coaching and hall hire.
The fund allows the council to provide financial support to a variety of community, sport, music, arts and voluntary groups.
Interested groups were invited to apply for up to £10,000 across three categories: facilities/core costs; project costs and fee waivers.
