INVERCLYDE woke up to travel chaos today as Storm Bert hit with snow falling heavily in places.
Western Ferries has announced that there services are suspended and subject to review this morning.
They have apologised for the inconvenience and will keep passengers updated.
It comes as the yellow weather warnings from the MET office continues are still in place with heavy snow expected today followed by rain and wind.
Elsewhere in Inverclyde Morton in the Community has cancelled all its children's football training sessions to keep everyone safe.
In Larkfield, where the snow fell through the night, the food share will not open at its usual time of 9.30am and will be reviewed later on at 12noon.
We understand that the payment system for residents heating their homes with the biomass boiler in Broomhill remains down with people unable to top up.
On the roads a tree is down in Kilmacolm Road, cars are struggling on Grieve Road.
Earlier this morning there was a bus stuck on Burns Road, with warnings from locals not to risk the Westmorland Road or the IBM road.
As expected the top of Port Glasgow is impacted by snowfall making travel difficult.
