A POLICE hunt has been launched after a man was attacked in Greenock last night.
The 41-year-old was seriously assaulted in East Shaw Street around 8.30pm on Friday and rushed to hospital for treatment.
Detectives are appealing for information from the public following the incident.
Detective Inspector Gordon Smith said: “Our enquiries to establish the full circumstances are ongoing and we are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this to contact us.
“We also ask anyone with private CCTV or dashcam footage of the area at the time to come forward.”
Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101 quoting incident 3760 of 22 November, 2024.
