A WOMAN is to stand trial next month after she denied severely injuring a man in an alleged knife attack in Greenock.
Louise McIntosh, 38, is charged with striking the man on the body with a blade at an address on West Blackhall Street on August 15.
Prosecutors say she was on a bail order which prevented her from approaching or contacting him at the time.
She is also alleged to have culpably and recklessly failed to disclose that she was in possession of a broken glass pipe while police officers were searching her.
McIntosh, of West Blackhall Street, pleaded not guilty to all charges against her at Greenock Sheriff Court through defence solicitor Ellen MacDonald.
A trial was fixed for December 11, with McIntosh being remanded in custody in the meantime.
