A SCOTTISH Parliament committee is to take evidence from Ferguson Marine staff tomorrow morning regarding progress on two new CalMac vessels.
The Net Zero, Energy and Transport committee will hear about MV Glen Sannox - which was handed over to Caledonian Maritime Assets Limited (CMAL) last week - and MV Glen Rosa at a meeting at Holyrood from 9:15am.
This will be the committee’s first opportunity to discuss progress with the interim chief executive, John Petticrew.

It will also hear from chairman Andrew Miller, board member Simon Cunningham and chief financial officer David Dishon.
The committee has been keeping a watching brief this session on the completion of both ferries, tracking the increasing costs and knock-on effect on services while they remain uncompleted.
It also intends to hear from CMAL at a meeting on January 7.
