ARDGOWAN Hospice is inviting members of the community to celebrate the lives of their lost loved ones at a special event this week.
The charity will host its annual Light Up A Life service at Westburn Church on Nelson Street on Sunday.
A spokesperson for the hospice said: “When someone we love dies, it is a profound experience that can shape us in many ways.
“Our world changes, and we must learn to navigate it anew.
“Yet, even in the midst of our grief, we can find solace in remembering and celebrating the life of our loved one.
“We can cherish the memories we shared, and we can draw strength from their love.”
The service will run from 4pm to 4:30pm, with hot drinks and treats being served in the church hall afterwards.
All are welcome to attend, regardless of whether or not they have a connection with Ardgowan Hospice.
