A GREENOCK fish and chip shop has shown its support for a popular local charity with an online donation drive.
Staff from Fisherman’s Dock recently handed over a cheque worth £600 to Ardgowan Hospice’s fundraising team.
The cash was raised with the help of the business’s loyal customers, partners and local community members through an initiative it ran via its online app.
As part of the scheme, the business made a donation to Ardgowan Hospice for each order they received.
A spokesperson for Fisherman’s Dock said: “At Fisherman’s Dock, we believe in giving back and take pride in making a positive impact in our community.
“We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who contributed to this cause. Your support enables us to continue our mission of making a difference.
“This successful initiative reflects our dedication not just to business growth but to social responsibility.
“We are proud to partner with Just Eat and look forward to future opportunities to support important causes.
“We’re excited to continue fundraising and supporting local charities. If you’d like to get involved or have ideas for future initiatives, please feel free to reach out to us!
“Thank you to everyone who joined us in this effort — your kindness and generosity are deeply appreciated.”
