A PORT Glasgow man is to stand trial after he denied supplying drugs from a flat in the town.
Derek McLaughlin, 32, is charged with being concerned in the supply of class A substance cocaine to another or others at a property on Highholm Street on October 22.
He is also alleged to have supplied cannabis – which falls under class B.
McLaughlin, of Southfield Avenue, faces a third charge of being in possession of a butterfly knife within a domestic premises on the same date.
Defence solicitor Aidan Gallagher tendered a plea of not guilty on McLaughlin’s behalf at Greenock Sheriff Court.
Sheriff Lindsay Kooner set a trial for March 19, 2025.
